My wife ,Marie , was always moaniing about the weight of detectors and when I seen how light the dues was I thought it would be ideal for her , unfortunately the price was just out of reach . Anyway I saw a new dues lite on Regtons website for £850 pounds which coincided with a little bit of pension back pay , so I bought it for her and it seemed ideal ., she's not one for fiddling with programmes and settings so the idea was just to use the nine basic settings built in . But even then we found that constant taking off the headphones just to set basic settings was making a right old mess of them with all the mud and damp . Anyway she said she would pay for a control box for it when she got paid and that's when another shock came when £550 was mentioned for it on the forums . I phoned Regtons the next day with hope I could get some off the price and it turned out that because we had bought it from him in thr first place he would only charge us the difference between what we had paid originally and what the dues was as a full package with discount which turned out to be £410 for the remote , well made up as I thought I would be paying well over the asking price . The downside is there is a two week waiting list . So credit were its due , they could of charged us the full price and we would not of known .

I think the normal price of the remote is £610.  One chap lost his and posted up the cost to warn others.

The control is nice as you can do so much more such as "notch" discrimination.

The Dues is an expensive machine to buy and we were looking at one or two other machines , but we thought we would never be able to afford to buy it again . Just hope you all don't mind us boring you to death with loads of questions in the future ! Made up with the service we got from Regtons .

Yes, Regtons are excellent for service.

I was made to feel very welcome when I popped in to sort my Deus shaft when it split. It was under warranty and I got the latest version, mk 4 from my mk 2.
