Hi guys and Gals that are brave enough to venture down here.
Has anyone got any programmes for the Deus that they would like to share?
Im not interested in starting a debate of peoples opinions on what is good on what land, etc etc etc. Everyone has, and is welcome to their own opinion.
Im interested in who uses what settings, or what programme on their land, thats they have tried and tested and works for them.

Example....

Usable all metal programme.................................

There is a school of though that a detector performs best when it is using  fewer filters as possible and is
used with Zero Discrimination or in All Metal.

However, setting the Deus Discrim to 0 will slow you down somewhat as you will be getting  audio on
small iron.

The Notch facility on the Deus knocks out the audio pertaining to the respective target detected. The following
program utilises this and, as a result, will help give you that extra bit of depth.

You will still get iron tones over the larger iron even with Iron volume OFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Search Frequency:  18khz
Discrim:                     0
Sensitiivity                 90
Recovery Speed:      3
Iron Volume:              OFF
Silencer:                    0
Audio Reactivity:        5
Ground Tracking        (manual if preferred)
TX                              2  (or 3 if stable)
Notch (main)              0 to 6
Notch in Expert          (25 to 27 to avoid coke/rock if required)
Use factory set 3 tone threshold settings

Advice:  Go by the audio and not VDI numbers..........try leaving the control unit in your pocket. Good targets
near iron can have the VDI 'dragged down' but give good audio, but another VDI at 90 degrees.

Please post your tested settings.

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock ...

Hehehe Kenny, you love living dangerously on here Grin Grin Grin

Anyway the good news is that there's now three of us D**s users in the village, so when you're available again give us a shout and we'll get back down the stubble and have a chat about the settings.

ps. I'll be back out as soon as the storms clear on Friday/Saturday...

He who dares...

That was one of my programs from well over 12 months ago.

From many tests I now use 12khz (found to be the deepest on small targets) and recovery speed 1
(unless a lot of iron in the area). I now use 2 tones as they are 'clearer'.

Basically, I like the settings used on www.garysdetecting.co.uk

I use the notch facility but Relichunting on here also has his version of ALL METAL where he uses 3 tones with Tone
1 on 200 hz and tone 2 on 202 hz with discrim at 5.5, and Tone 3 set at 767 hz? (from memory) at whatever
VDI you want the upper tone to sound.

You can PM him for further details.

Hope this helps.
