I like the shortcrosses too, but they don't come up often, thanks for all of the nice comments, puts you on a high when the finds turn up!

Superb finds Steve. I think the IDs are:

Long Cross - Henry III Class 3a HENRI ON LVNDE
Cut half - Henry III Class 5g, NICOLE ON CANT
Short Cross - Henry II, Class 1a var or 1b, York mint ISAC ON EVER...

well done hedgehog you had a cracking day there mate.the coins are in good nick to were they out of pasture.  

Good point Ian, the ground has been pasture for many years, it had been ploughed before I think, it is being ploughed every year now so hopefully the items in the ground won't get broken up too much before I find them  Undecided This is the third year that they have been ploughed since I have been going up there.

arrr it tales 3 ploughings for everything to come up near the surface as well, so some more should turn up,  plus things for the next couple of years thats been missed too,   keep it going now, best of luck
