Well I thought about it, but I run my own club in Cheltenham, so my members get priority on any sites, and I limit membership to about 30. I would also find it difficult to get so many people on one dig.
The other problem would be to set a president of payment for detecting land, and then find out any future detecting in the area requires a cash payment. I think that has probably happened in Wiltshire.
I have also had problems with people going back to my productive sites at night, so much so, I have now had to purchased several wildlife camera’s which captures anyone who passes the infrared red beam sensor, and I certainly have some interesting shots.   quite sad when that happens, but there will always be those who want what others have.
