Sorry for delay on the update well here is how it went  Grin Grin
Arrived 20 minutes early and was ask to go to a waiting room upstairs. This I did and when I got there and sat down for 5 mins I noticed information on Births, Deaths and marriages!!!! This I found strange… After 5 mins waiting I was told I was early for the register on a Death !!!!! ummm what was my thoughts. Anyway I was then told I was sent to the wrong part of the building its upstairs (reception got it wrong not me) lol. Oh well off I went upstairs and found the waiting area outside the courtroom. 2 mins later 2 people came out of the door and asked if they could help me. So I showed them the letter etc and they really apologized that the hearing was brought forward in the day as a few hearings didn’t happen…… Oh so well I missed the hearing (Not My fault or Flo’s she missed it too). They did give me a little bit of info about the Fastener. Its been declared as “TREASURE”.. Now It’s going back to the British Museum and will be Valued as Taunton Museum wish to acquire it. Now will have to wait up to another 3 months. Oh well its been in the ground for hundreds of years a few more months won't do any harm
Cheers

Bit of an anti-climax then Ferret. Still, as you say it's buried for a long time. Lets hope they don't keep you waiting too long and come up with a good valuation.
