To any garret owners how do your machines perform on the beach. I want a beach machine but on a very tight budget and the 250 or the euroace machines can be quite cheap second hand and would be a second machine if my little un ever wanted to come with me.

Go on to "Youtube"    search for "crackbadger"   He is an American bloke who uses an ACE 250 on the beach.

He finds loads.

I used mine on the beach and it was going haywire over the wet sand.

Turn the sensitivity down a bit and no problems.

I tried the beach with my euroace, it was all over the place even with the sensitivity adjusted different modes etc, i dont know if a different/smaller coil would make any diference etc?
