What metal detector is considered to be an upgrade from the Garrett Euroace?
I am planning on buying another detector and any advice is welcome.
75% Inland and 25% Beach usage
The Garrett is fine on wet sand as far as I can make out although the sensitivity needs to be on the first 3 notches
Thanks
John

i use a minelab sovereign gt  Grin as a back up machine , good on beach good on land easy to use , hip mountable so good in water .,just switch on and go, ,just over budget but you can pick up a second hand one at that price .

As Big Ox has said the Sovereign is a great all around machine and the very best on the beach. Don't worry about which model as the performance is just the same on the original 20 year old model as it is on the new GT. But also you can pick up a second hand Explorer easily within that price, which once again have the same performance from the XS to the new Etrac. The Whites DFX is another contender that would come in well under budget S/H Wink
