At every rally the members could pool all thier scrap metal lead copper  etc to help fund future events and has  Casa Dos said earlier a prize for best find maybe we could get some company sponsership by advertising by the side of our rally flags on on them and also on the DETECTINGWALES (T SHIRTS)  with funds behind us we can only go on to greater heights  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes mole

Hi Mole

 RARE member already collect Lead to add to club funds and its earnt the club a tidy profit over the years.
I bought a Detecting wales Polo shirt when they was made available 1st
Ive worn it to club events and to the local and its amazing the attention i get, i love the chance to talk about my hobby and hopefully im a good advert for our hobby.

Get a detecting wales polo shirt and be popular like me  lol  Tongue

Just a thought why don't we put some buckets by the cars for scrap to be put into this would also be helpfull if the landowner came along ie look at the ammount of rubbish we have removed from your fields.

You could do what the Metal Detecting sights do over here, sell chartership membership. They charge $20.00 US and give the charter members special privileges on the sight.They use pay pal for payments, Along with a special Icon on their posts.                Charter Membership - only $20. a year!
