Hi, I've just got back from a bit of detecting, and dodging the showers. This hammie is the only good thing I found today.
It's really small about 10mm across, but still nicely marked. I'm still rubbish at iding these things, any help would be great.

Thanks
Dave

Nice coin.

I believe this an Edward IV halfpenny, London mint. The mintmark looks like a heraldic cinquefoil. Spink 2137.

Thanks Doc,
It's nice to work back from the spinks number, and check out the mint mark and the other details. It all seems to make sense then, but I do struggle the other way round !

Thanks gents,
It's always nice to find a hammered,  think I must be getting to grips with the Deus now.
Deadlock, sorry to here you had no luck today, it's all a bit sparse and deep in most fields round Hereford
I think I better start saving for the Deus large coil  !

Regards,
Dave
