headed west yesterday with hammerd and stufkins to a new permission , 7am p##*&g down with rain and with the mother of all hangovers after a wedding party the nite before off we went for the 140 mile round trip .

arrived at the farm at 9am met the farmer who pointed in all directions at 200+ acres of very inviting fields for us to play with .

off we went armed to the teeth with e tracs with giant coils and my xs which is running hot as hell at the moment full of hope for some good finds .

well as you can see from the piccy it was a very busy day indeed there are 56 bits there which doesnt include the bigger bits of cans wire etc which ended in the hedge 70+ digs , every one a good signal  Shocked Shocked Shocked. and thats just my finds , my mates had much the same

cans , , bullets , foil ,buttons ,lead ,tubes ,a few greenies , a kitchen plug hole , ( sink not included) , bag seals , the list is endless , amongst all this dross i did manage a lizzie half groat which eased my aching back a little bit

great company , and an enjoyable day out in superb surroundings , just a shame the finds didnt show this time but thats the way it goes  Smiley Smiley

You're not joking Mike. Very busy day. Is that a cow horn protector and a clog clasp I can see.?
Better a busy field than a dead one any day. Wink
