hi a neighbour dug this up in his front garden  i took the pic next to a  £1 coin to show the size.  it looks to be made of brass and the numbers on the bottom  seem to read  403.  the 3 shields  on top are well worn  but the one on the right looks to have the letters  BR  or poss  BH.   NICE FIND THO  THANKS

Don't know what it is - design looks European - maybe 1930s? Googling hasn't come up with anything so far Huh

Did try googling it but nothing,it does have a German or european look to it,could it be an airforce insignia badge,403 being the squadron or unit ? Roll Eyes

Just a thought guys , but is it something that would have been given away with a comic? Eagle perhaps?

Still not found a match, some of the Polish WW2 air force insignia have an eagle and the 3 lightning forks,i'm fairly sure it's got something to do with millitary aviation, any chance of a better picture and one of the back Digga.

The quality of the metal doesn't look to good , that's why i think it may be comic book stuff, is it pewter?

Very interesting and very puzzling. Looks European as has been previously stated. How heavy is it?
