For the past year or so we aquired some land local to home. Myself and Db4(Darrel) have been up there at least 20 times. Today took Scrappy (Sean) up there for the first time. I Said to db4 if there is any thing to find up there Scrappy will find it.
We have had some nice finds up there early Georgian coins,Victorian and some nice Artifact such as a coin weight ,Spoons,Spinle whorls and only one single Hammered a Lizzy 3d.

We started in the back field where the coin weight,Spindal whorl etc had come from. But had nothing not even a single coin.
So decided to go back down to the front fields to which nothing much of interest has ever come up.
We have even seen a photo in the 1800's of people in the field near a tree to which is still standing now even though looks dead.
As I said we have detected around this tree on several occasions. But Scrappy on his first day up here pops up this beauty
Well Done Sean
