Thats a cracker - any chance of a picture or description of the hallmarks as it will answer so many questions? If its platinum the hallmark is unlikely to be worn as its a relatively modern setting by the look of it.

Without pouring any rain on any parades, the third photo looks a tad like its showing a bit of flaking on the band (may just be dirt}, in which case it would be unlikely to be the real McCoy.

The stone if it is legit is well over a carat and a half and depending on clarity and colour could move the ring into the serious money bracket.

I hope it is all the real McKoy as if it is thats an absolute beauty of a find

Take it to a jewellers for an appraisal.

No I was there at about 12. 30 until 3.   Wish I could have found a ring like that !  I did all the right things looking for black sand etc. but there you go.  The worst was that there were 2 detectors there digging constantly - I thought have they got bottom range or top range detectors lol

yes we saw those 2 , the 1 guy joined the beach as we left , we left at 12:30 lol , must have just missed you. the other woman , well i think it was female was there all morning while we were there . We should have stayed but a moaning woman is enough for me lol  Roll Eyes .......... they were prob digging iron  Wink
