I know we did this thread a few years ago, but there are so many new members on here that I thought it would be good to run again to provide inspiration.

Lets see what your oldest hammered coin and oldest Roman found so far in Wales are. I know there's a few crackers out there.

I'll get the ball rolling

Hammered penny of Henry 1st  1100-1135 - Found Wales - Explorer II on stubble.

Republican Deanrius of Trebanius 135BC - found Wales - Explorer II on pasture.

It didnt acctually  TBH, I very nearly didnt dig it as I thought another button. It was only a few inches down and when I first saw it I thought bugger another button, it was only when I turned it over and saw the horse that I realised what it was. Will remember that till the end of my days
