Jon we don't tend to get the early Roman Silver over here as this was a pro-Roman area and so didn't have a large army presence, the silver is found were the legions were. South Wales produces far less Roman coins overall but a far higher percentage of Denari.

Well done on the republican - a great roman to start with!

Nick ignore that, it's not a republican coin. True classification would be Imperatorial but as he was the first true Emperor then it would be classed as the newer rather than older Roman coins..
