Just been on the PAS website just a few minutes ago and have just got really annoyed!! The reason is that the Treasure Case just uploaded is 2011 T700, http://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/468409 which is a Bronze Age hoard. Now according to the details, it was found in October 2011. What annoys me is the fact that my Case is an older one, 2011 T430, it was acknowledged by the British Museum in September, and yet they process this case before mine, where is the logic in that?? Should I email them about the fact that why have they not done mine yet?

I think that the more 'important' cases get dealt with more quickly. There are many reasons why cases get delayed, but to me a wait from September doesn't seem that long - a recent case of mine took over two years!

Hi Doc, yes, I understand and do know that cases can take that long, just that mine is a Bronze Age hoard too, 3 items, not as big but still, and is awaiting a report by the very same person who wrote that particular one I mentioned, hence why I am annoyed LOL.

My first posey ring took 14 months and even then it was returned as not proven over 300 years so it never even got to the coroners court. I would just forget about it for now Jon.

A lot of the gold hoard i found they called scrap, funny how they still wanted it though, at a knock down price. Huh
It's probably better you don't hear from them, at least you won't be disapointed.
