Where on the site is listed the  members profile. ?   So I  can I send a PM or find out details such as where they live or telephone etc. about other members.

If you click on a member's name you will be taken to their profile page where you can send them a PM. We do not give out our members' personal information to anyone.

Hi  Geoff,

Thanks for the reply,  That means that you have to wait for a member to publish or reply to a forum before you can contact him ?  Seems strange, normally people fill in their Profile with details that they agree to be published such as their email, telephone numbers and area where they live. If they don't want people to know, they leave these items blank.  I also belong to the GDC. and these facts are there to be used and I haven't heard of them being abused.

It used to be on display Ray, until we found out that another forum had stolen the information to start their own forum. After that we blocked it. As Chef has said , if you wish to contact anyone just pm them, thats what its on here for.

I can't send a PM using Firefox as the verification image does not show

in IE is is clearly a missing image ...

I would imagine that anybody who gives out personal information without permission of the individual in question is in breach of the data protection act especially if personal details have not been voluntarily posted.
 DW as usual is doing it the correct way.
