found at the weekend wanderers rally , 1 is a 16th tag fastener so says the flo the other they didnt see so any ideas

also had a 2 worn jettons a grotty roman and a few nice buttons all in all a good day out , many thanks to mark for collecting me and to byron and all at RARE for inviting me along , cheers everyone and a merry xmas

I think its a Medieval belt stud - used to decorate leather belts - had a few of them and from my experience  they always hint at hammered coins being in the vicinity. Nice finds Mike

Lovely finds, i do like seeing them come out of the ground. It helps connect with the past much more than the coinage, in my humble opinion.

Great finds Mike. I agree with the IDs as above, although the belt mount is possibly early post-medieval rather than medieval.
