Sorry Kev, I forgot to say well done fella. They are lovely little things to find as they wash away any doubts about your ability. Always a great sign of a detectorists technique especially one who uses an Explorer/Etrac, I know people who have been detecting 10 years plus and have never found a quarter and the simple reason is they swing to fast. Wink

thanks Chef for that, that means a lot m8, i was watching folks yesterday at that rally and mentioned it to mark about folks swinging the detector could not believe it .by the way the signals on the field i found that little quarter was noisy but i stuck with it and was listen very closely and got my reward. Wink

The only thing I can add is to say it's London mint. Not enough visible to decide which class it is.
