Garret Ace 250 Minelab Safari

« on: December 31, 2011, 03:01:47 PM »

Hi all, I notice  a few members including myself interested in upgrading from a garret 250 to another machine. Thing is though, because i have only ever used a garret I cant compare it to anything to figure out if im better off just sticking with the 250 or upgrading  Undecided  sooooo , my question is, what are the benefits in upgrading ? Just an example...whats the real difference between a minelab and a garret ? I really dont have a clue what to even think about buying next or even if i should upgrade  Undecided All advice is appreciated  Smiley

the advantage is your finds will increase and better than that the quality of finds will increase.i used a garret ace 250 when i started and for coinshooting it was awsome but when i got an etrac wow what a difference.you wont regret upgrading Smiley

I agree with badger i  started with a 250 found lots of nice things with it but it is a starter machine i thought my fields where dead until i got my t2 and the finds just keep comming.

An upgrade will improve your finds rate but my advice is to take it steady & in stages. Best move from the 250 is the Minelab ET range. The X-terra 70 is well worth your concideration as a 1st step up.  Wink
