out with the swansea club today and only had a few finds including about 8 buttons, couple of coins but can't make out what they were, a dog tag?

Does anyone know what date this button may be  from? Looks like an old one to me

Dog Tag ?

What size is the button Joel?

I'll have a look in my button book.

It could be a small tombac button which would put it in the 18th century.
But I think it's more likely to be 18th-19th century.
