Ok i found a coin yesterday ,between the the size of a cartwheel penny and two penny , i'm trying to clean it slowly so no pics at the moment. It has writing on the edge of the coin , so far i can make out the words 'in LONDON'  on the edge any ideas???

Sounds like a Parys mountain mines penny somtimes called a "Druids head penny",
I found one a couple of years back and if my memory serves me right it read "On demand in London Liverpool or Anglesey", around the edge.

well found Rob Mate !

Amazing how these items get lost in seemingly isolated places.
Im remember last year of some one finding a Lundy penny (I think it was on the Cardiff scan club forum)

Keep up the good work Rob !

All the best

That was me who found the Lundy Island Panny - a One Puffin!

It was really odd as I had literally read about them the morning I went detecting. First signal of the day a Lundy Penny!

There are strange forces at work I can tell you!

Nice coin, always great to see something come out of the ground a little bit different. And a great I.D. by all concerned.
