Not an easy one again Peter, never seen one quite as clipped as this, thought it may have been a penny at one time clipped back to a halfpenny??
The green one is a 5p couldn't see what it was until I had soaked it for a while!

Well done Steve - they all count. It's a very clipped Durham penny of the second reign of Edward IV, I think probably Spink 2118, if there's a V in one of the quarters with pellets (looks like there is to me), or Spink 2117 if not. The clue is in the small crosses above the crown.

Here's an example of 2117:

and here's 2118:

Doc, having met you at Caerleon i would most definatly say you are not sad. A nice bloke with a keen interest and the patience to seek out positive results is dedication not sadness. Wish i could be as dedicated.  Grin Grin  Mind you when i do try and find id,s for stuff if i go quiet for more than five minutes my 5 year old will pounce on me and want to know if i am all right. I am sure you don,t get those conditions.
