my plan is to test my scoop to destruction then rebuild it ,keep doin that until its unbreakable.thats what they did with jeeps during the war Grin

It's cheaper to buy a proper stainless steel foot assisted sand scoop in the first place.

I've been through the home made period and it's false economy. Mine broke and I was then stuck for the
day with a wonky scoop.

I looked into getting a pile made as they're as rare as rocking horse manure but it never came off. Eventually
invested in one off the internet but I note thatr since I bough mine they've increased in price.

I bought my stainless steel sod buster about 10 years ago for about £35 and they're now about £55.....
a great investment and hedge against inflation!  Grin
