hi all not a lot sat on the beach but im happy they were all down about 6 inches wet and dry sand 2 and 1 pences every where 1 pound coin 3 5 p pieces all in all was about 1 pound 80 i dont mind  a find is a find then wham with in half an hour about 50 to 60 ft apart a 1945 tanner a 1958 tanner a 1952 half penny and then an 1898 vicky penny im happy sinky .  Cool Smiley Wink : Grin

Well done sinky I agree any modern coins I find go into jar for changing up at Salisbury's, and any that the machine rejects I carry around for the vending machines in work.  Grin The only coins I don't like finding are the old 50PS & 1/2 PS cant spend them  Angry

I take my old 50ps and large old 10ps to the charity shop, they always seem grateful to have them, they can still be turned into cash if you have enough of them for the bank of England. The decimal half p is about the most useless coin of all to find, beach or inland., no value and no age.

 Wink weeldone sinky well you right a find its a find and beach detecting not easy at all , i never find anything older than a 1960's coin so big welldone mate and keep going may get some gold goodies next.nap

hi all thank you for the replys on my finds will have to get camera sorted out and to show u my finds and my ugly mug .  Cool Grin Cheesy ps off to lympstone next week where there is an old harbour and a mile of sandy beach my mate said the harbour has been there for about 300 hundred years  cant wait good hunting to you all sinky .
