Met up with farmer Steve and some of the Swansea club members today in the wonderful sunny, Vale of Glamorgan.
Didn't stay too long, Beachboy feeling under weather (pardon the pun).
anyway picked up a few items in the 3 hours we were there.
Nice bag seal,
what looks like a strap end,
a nice little gold guilt ornamental item, brooch may be but cant see where it could be attached to anything (22mmx 17mm).
And what looks like an amethyst stone set in a small button which seems to have some age to it?
i tried the stone on some glass and it cuts it cleanly without leaving a mark on the stone.
...verdicts please on button or guilt item?
P.S. many thanks for the invite Steve much appreciated from me and Beachboy (viv)
