Had to take the Mrs out for a meal today so couldn't get out detecting until 3pm

Arranged to meet coin demon on a huge 2000 acre farm that I secured earlier this year.

The only field available was a large stubble one

I gave Rob a telephone call to let him know I was on my way, he mentioned that a large 60 odd acre field was been ploughed and rolled next to the one we planned on doing.

We decided that this was probably are best bet of finding anything.

After an hour I was beginning to think this field is a waste of time, and out popped a beautiful Henry V111 grote

After showing Rob my find we carried on for a few hours more, with nothing to show but a few musket  balls, then just as we were leaving out popped my second hammered a superb Edward V1 sixpence.

Rob called me a jammy barsteward I felt a little guilty getting to the fields late and felt a little sorry for Rob,but hey ho maybe it will be his turn next time.
