Hello
I just got a sov xs 2 pro off a member here.Really pleased with the machine and a top bloke to deal with.
Im after the alkaline battery adaptor that can be used in the unit.I rang Crawfords and they said no go but iff some ome has a pic of one  ill have a go at making one.

I could draw you a picture lol. The most annoying thing is I threw mine away, they were hopeless they came in two parts that you had to clip together.
I just got another rechargeable, there is still a guy on ebay who sells new li-ion bats from time to time and I can vouch they are very good. This is his last add;

If you look at his feedback you'll see he's made and sold loads of them so you should be ok. They are good and charge up in no time even from the car.

Still no luck on the alkaline battery adapter front.If theres anyone  technically minded please PM  me with suggestions  to an alkaline alternative to the Sov xs 2 pro.I have the two pods but the connector I need for alkalines or rechargables.its holding a charge on the Nicad pack but not for as long as i need .

Thanks for the replies.Dint get an answer from the fella on Ebay Geoff.
Thanks for the pictures Viv.There must be some internal wirirng inside the adapter?
Im thinking of going with an external battery hip mounted too.Been searching the net and there seems to be some alternatives just trying to get my head round them.Any advice on an external 12 volt pack and how to wire it up gladly appreciated.

andrew,that adapter fits on the two holders that you fit the eight batteries in.viv
