Always expect the unexpected!

WWW
« on: October 03, 2011, 02:48:36 PM »

Was out at a recent rally in Wendover, Hampshire and came across this lone vivid poppy in the middle of a huge stubble field about a mile and a half long. It was around 7 o'clock and the sun was low creating some dramatic light.
As a photographer I usually got my camera to hand, but when I'm detecting, I'm detecting and it stays at home. When I came across this poppy I had to get the photo, so I took a shot on my Samsung Galaxy Phone. Not really sure what the quality was going to be like but have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I have attached both images, one untouched and the other with some digital poetic license.
Been thinking of a title, how about 'Against all odds'? Smiley
