Hi Everybody,
Only just started detecting so 'I know nothing"... I'm looking to try to get my wife a basic detector that's not complicated or heavy.
She's of small build so would not be able to cope with a heavy machine. As long as it'll give a half decent detection rate then that's all
I feel she's going to need.
Cheers

Hi Mike, I would think the Garrett Ace 250 would be the one to look out for, it is a very capable machine for it's price with some awesome finds to it's credit, the Stirlingshire gold Torques being only one of them.
Napoleon  has or had one for sale at a good price complete with the larger coil for extra depth.

Cheers for the head - up there Geoff. I've contacted Nap so hopefully he'll get back to me soon.
