What is the better detector organisation to join FID or NCMD or both?

I have met a few people who are members of both, I'm wondering in this instance that if there was a claim to be made would they....

a) work together
b) work against each other
c) nulify your insurance
d) none of the above

Any help would be much appreciated

I was a member of both now only one but for insurance claims I'm sure You would only use one, they definitely wouldn't work against each other or nullify your cover.
As to which is best? ...well.....................I'll just put my tin hat on and watch Grin

Well I chose FID for no other reason than they are Welsh based.
