Georgian or victorian furniture fitting, probably the bit that the draw handle bangs against when you let it go. The pin holes at each corner kind of gives it away.

We got 8 george coins from that field that day but weather have been awefull past few days , might pop up there tomorrow , try and find summin good this time:) ........... sooo many fields to choose from i just started on the smallest lol
