You would think the U.S. president would have been schooled on England's royalty customs! You never reach out and touch the Queen! embarrassing etiquette for sure! I bet the English are still talking about it! This is our Presidents wife putting her arm around the Queen like she is her home girl It is considered a breach of protocol to touch the Queen. When the former Australian Prime Minister Paul Keating put his arm around the Queen in 1992, he was branded the "Lizard of Oz". When his successor, John Howard, was accused of doing the same, a spokesman insisted: "We firmly deny that there was any contact whatsoever."
