Had a day out with Taff and Deadlock over the Bank holiday on some new land on this side of the bridge. We must of nearly broken the record for miles walked in a day and I think we should of been sponsored Grin
Well loads of items dug but not a load of things to post other than a (obligatory) Roman which is either female or one of the boy emperors and followed not 30 minutes later by a very clipped hammy penny (I don't think Doc will get this one Grin). So all was right in my little world for a while, that was until that Taff bloke went and ruined everything by finding a really scabby, worn, bent, tin like, broken (or would of been if he had let me hold it) Tudor Penny.
Unfortunately Deadlock managed to hold on to his hammy virginity for one more outing, but a little too late in the day I set his machine up as I would hunt and his Technique is A1 so it's just a matter of time until the coil passes over one.
A great day in great company, thanks lads (well apart from your hammy Taff)

Oh and has anyone got any ideas on the third item, it resembles a medieval bar mount but ther are no visible ways of fixing it (ie no rivets)

Well done Geoff. The hammered is probably Edward IV, York mint, with B to left and key to the right of the bust.
