Hi all,

On Friday I'm going to be in bermigham shopping at the bullring centre.

I was just wandering if anyone on here had been to the Regton shop?
If you have, how easy is it to get to?

I'm going to be buying a new coil and I'm guessing it will be easier for me to go in
and buy it over the counter than ordering and waiting for it online.

Cheers Jon

yes

its quite easy -- but blink and you'll miss the small parking area. most of the shop is upstairs -- so do a quick google street view of it so u can get your bearings!

Well worth visiting. I was made to feel very welcome by Nigel and the team. Only problem is, you look around and think " I like that, I could do with that, Thats interesting etc etc". Take plenty cash or a credit card! You get an honest reply to your questions by experienced people. You won't get fobbed off or sold something you don't need.  Wink

well worth going to see all the stuff !!!   they have loads of "finds" displayed that I was drooling over.

Loads of books and maps - it was MD heaven. !

We used the sat nav and it found it ok.  The parking was full so if you see a space on that road, just grab it.  Its in a road with loads of small warehouses and they are right on the end.

Great guys in there and we had a good laugh.

Take care

All I can say is 'You must be mad'  Who, in thier right mind, would want to willingly go shopping in Birmingham. Shocked

Still it'll be an experience for you. Just think of Cardiff only 10 times worse. Only my opinion as I lived there for 50 odd years and wouldn't go back for love nor money.

I have some friends who at least once a year find a hotel deal to go shopping in the Bull Ring.

I've never been to Regton but it sounds a detectorists paradise!  Smiley

Thanks for all your answers everyone!

We are going to Alton towers tomorrow and on the way back on Friday we are going to go to the bull ring shopping.

Part of the deal I made with my girlfriend about going to the bull ring was to go to Regton too Smiley

Birmingham is a great place for a mooch around these days bud,I'm sure you'll have a good day out. Wink
I'd guess its a 20 minute walk from the centre of town or a 40 minute drive in the traffic!  Roll Eyes
Be careful in the Bullring if your taking the Missus, there's some "nice" shops, could cost you a fortune fella! Grin
