Hi all. Name is mike. From fleur-de-lys. Blackwood. Interested in learning this fasinating hobby. If any clubs or people live by me. Let me know so that i can meet and pick your brains. I have not purchased a detector yet. I think i need to understand alot more before making a purchase.

Sorry admin if this is in the wrong section. Please move if need be.

If there is any help or information i can pass on please let me know.
Hobbies include. Radio ham. Rc cars. (Got one for sale). Astronomy. I am an i.t. manager. And run recording studio. So if any information i can exchange then please ask. Last of all i am a Scout leader.(always looking for other volunteers).

Well it's been some time.  But i'm back, had an illness and changed jobs, family issues and now it's some me time.  I have a budget for a new detector and I gonna use it.  Sorry been away for so long.  But you have one live, LIVE IT....

Hey Mike,

I'm just down the road from you in Caerphilly. Going to be ordering my first detector this week (as soon as I can pick a day I will be in for delivery) If you're still around and maybe looking for someone to group up with in the future let me know (or anyone else from the area feel free).
