Imagine my joy, when out walking the dogs this morning I espied a combine trundling into my favourite field Grin So needless to say the dogs had a short walk Wink
Hurried back home to collect metal detectors and off we set. Somewhat disapointed when he only cut the edge of the field, but hey-ho better than nothing.
Mrs had first decent find a slightly battered William IV groat 1836, then 10 minutes later I got a battered 'Lizzie' 1572, another 20 mins later and Mrs found nice bronze button.
Not a bad haul for an hours detecting, as I'm writing can hear the combine back in field cutting the rest, hmmmm, wonder what I'll be doing after tea!!
