Greetings Dylanj and welcome to Detectingwales.com

I found a bottle dump earlier this year and pulled out about 10 completing ones dating to about the turn of the century and shortly after.

I have found about 20 in my detecting years - one on a beach and the rest in pasture or on unbelievable plouged soil.

Cheers
Neil

Used to go bottle dump digging 30 odd years ago Dylanj.  More recently a lot of bottles are exposed for collection at low tide in the petrified forest exposed at Wisemans Bridge  Shocked. Winter tides are the best for discovery  Smiley

Hi there,

Although I have not come across many bottles, I do have one I'm particular found of. Unfortunately it's not complete but it like it anyways. It's quite plane, but on the back is the date 1533. This was the year Elizabeth 1st was born, and given my fascination with the Tudors, it was nice to have something from that date.  Cheesy
It was a luck find in fact, I got a nice signal with my detecting and whole digging I found the bottle. The signal was a nice Victoria 2p, a double success in my eyes  Grin

Like I said though the top is broken off but never mind, I was pleased Cheesy
