If you use a Deus aren't you using the wireless 'phones?

Course I am Bob  Tongue

Have you kept the Chef 'phones as a momento  Huh

Yes! I'll use them with my back up machine,if I need to

Personally, I think you'd be better of with a Deus large coil. Then you won't need a back-up machine!

Charge up in the field with the little pocket charger or use the other coil. Simples!  Wink

Interesting post if not going a tad off topic.  Please see show Show Us Your Deus Finds to reply.

Lets get back on track with Bulbus's pinpointer thread.

I don't think I would be too happy paying well over a thousand pounds to have to change a battery with a stanley knife! Surely thats got to be a design fault.  I find it unbelievable that XP would put this on their site - it must put people off buying them.

I find it far easier to just slide a new battery pod in for 16 hours detecting.

Still to be convinced by the Deus

£1400? No, a lot cheaper than that, and also less than a Monsterlab.

The batteries shouldn't need changing for years, and Regton will do it for you if you wish.

At least there's batteries and a processor in there. Most coils just have some copper wire and silicon  Grin
