found this silver ring couple of months ago it has 525 stamped on the inside of it any help to id it would be great

525 usually= Sterling Silver... Cool
which equates to a minimum of 92.5 % silver

No Sterling Silver is 925 not 525. 525 silver is as expected only 52.5% silver=14K. Not that common over here but more normal on the continent and in the States.
As it's written as a millesimal number and not as 14K I would think it is post 1999.

Yep i misread the first number as stated 525 is 52.5% silver...regards PaulB.
