A lovely display Paul, It makes me feel that I should go back to doing a bit of beach detecting occasionally, It doesn't have the history to hold my attention though and I give up too soon.

ohhhhhh yes, but I lived on the Med so you have to get on the beach regularly as it's non tidal and the storms aren't usually man enough to dredge up the older finds.

I had quite a few over the years but funnily all bar 1 were engagement rings, funniest was detecting the beach at Cap D agde which is or was the largest naturist complex in Europe and finding 14 piercing rings in one day, two of which still had the ball fasteners attached so must of been ripped out "ouch!".
