Lost ring in Grosvenor Park, Chester

Hi everyone

I was at Chester Roman Festival yesterday (Sunday 5th June) and I lost my silver ring in Grosvenor Park. I'm pretty sure I know the location where it was lost as I have a photograph where it was on my finger and I think I heard something hit my bag but unfortunately it didn't occur to me at the time that it was my ring. Ten minutes later I noticed it had gone and although I searched and asked the stall holders I was unable to find it.

Chances of someone picking it up are high but just in case it's still in the grass in the park I was wondering whether anyone would be able to help me? I have left my details with the organisers of the festival and the stall holders in that area but I thought that metal detectors might be able to help the hunt in case it's still there!

It's not really anything of tremendous value, it's more sentimental as I haven't had it off in 5 years so I feel lost without it!

 I had another look today but I couldn't see it, lots of rings from cans that kept getting my hopes up in the sunshine

Just joined this site and noticed your post.
I live in Runcorn about 30 mins from Chester ,I know it was last month when you lost your ring but I will try and have a look for it, just let me know the area you think it might be, or we could meet up and you could show me if you live near by.
