I am totally new to this! and i was thinking about going out for my first try on the muddy forshores around Chepstow or Caldicot , Any advise ?

hi rusty the mud here in chepstow..is as dodgy as....very deep .and dangerous...go with some as others have said...but good luck...

listen to all the sound advice being given, we went to chepstow area  mate got stuck it took two of us to get him out, can be a very dangerouse place,, finds are good also Undecided Undecided  mickycoin   Grin Grin

speaking from experience mate be very very careful.the mud can seem like its safe then suddenly give out on you with no warning.take a mate and definatly a mobile phone.memorise the map co ordinates of the area your working just in case.
