WHICH WOULD BE LIGHTWEIGHT TOO. AND CHEAP.
MY MAIN MACHINE IS FISHER F75.

THANKS ROB

Rob - you have to 'speculate to accumulate' F75 for land is fine but for serious beach detecting you need a PI  Huh As a back up for land and beach - can't think of any cheap options  Smiley

Lot of gold still to be found on the beaches so don't be too economic  Undecided

Hi Rob, as Tyna has said for dedicated beach detecting a p.i. machine is the way to go, unfortunately all sub £1000 pi machines are just playing at it (with the possible exception of the Garrett Infinium) and you are better getting the recognised king of the beaches as far as VLF technology is concerned which is a Minelab Sovereign (any model) which you can pick up for around £300, these will not give you the same sensitivity to tiny items however it will give you better depth on non ferrous targets and discrimination.
While this is in no way a lightweight machine it can be used hip mounted which solves the weight issue.

Or have a look at the Fisher CZ21.

Uses dual search frequency and is submersible.

oh no bob i have just been gettin used to the machine i have'nt started yet mate.my cousin finds more than me but does'nt post because he likes his secret places/beaches.i have seen him walk off the beach with a handful of gold.he is the reason i got into it.he does'nt get to the beach very often unlike me but when he does oh man he out detects me anytime.he has around 8 detectectors and travells the world with american gold hunters like george streeter and guys who detect with andy sabisch.
wait till i get his knowledge then there wont be any gold left  Shocked

the problem with a PI machine you will be digging deep holes and even the best PI machines don't have very good discrimination
i have the T2 and works very well on the beach
