Attached is a link to the local tide times - to help avoid getting your feet wet!

Just scroll down and select the area you want.

Hi Neil

Thank for posting Tidal Times
We went Detecting at Morfa Buchan bay in the summer and someone, naming no names but you know who you are Angry   Grin forgot to check the tide.
It wouldnt have been so bad but half the beach was pebble, wasted most of the day waiting to see a bit of sand  lol

arr you should have checked them on my website when it was up  lol,

Nothing much found on the beach Phil,  but i was there a few years ago and found quite a few pre dec silver and copper on the edges,
also a Gold ring 15 carat with 8 small diamonds, 4 were missing though, and a saphire in the centre
dated .  ohh my website is gone now, can't check, hang on.
arrr got it.  1891.
 Cheers now

Hi Alan

I normally Check the tides on the RARE website but because one of our Party lives near by all summer we sort of left it too him (bad Move lol)

You must have took all there was then lol as you know the flat bit behind the beach it used by Campers so loads of ally and ring pulls.
During the war The Royal navy used to hold ship to shore Target practice there
Des went off into the hills and i expected a load Bang and a puff of smoke lol but he was ok

It took 4 of us half the day to find a handful of lead i give all i found to a passing fisherman, i think Byron found an oar off a boat
We went to Pendine after that and cleared up  so it wasnt a total waste of time

regards Phil
