Hi All

Found this strange object, with a 'mysterious' inscription whilst detecting on pasture today. Anyone got an idea what it is? I'm completely stumped.  Huh

It's metal (think it's bronze but not certain) found approx 6 inches below surface.

The mark is a registration diamond. I don't know what the object is, but the mark dates it to the Victorian period. Guide to decoding here:
