Hi, went out early this morning and found the pastures very very hard and dry. Definitely too hard to detect without the risk of damage to clods.

Tried some plough fields and reminded me of the sahara desert, very dusty. Its hard to believe that we even had
a thunderstorm yesterday in brecon.

Where is the rain ?

Did find 7 coins and an array of buttons on the plough fields  Grin

I have a lot of pasture land to do but, as you say, I'm finding the ground very hard.

It takes the enjoyment out of detecting. I had the opportunity to go out yesterday for a few hours but
decided not to.

I may not go now until we have a drop of rain.
