Found this coin on my first hunt at a farm in Crick(Caerwent way) & after a clean am still unable to identify it. Can anyone help or have any idea`s? It`s slighty bigger than a old halfpenny & slighty smaller than a penny,it`s 27mm across,1mm thick & 95mm in diameter.The coin weighs 6:3grams,Regards.

Dig it (Adie) my camera is only 6.3mp so this seems to be the best shot i can get of the head side at the mo;

Looks very much like a George the 3rd soho 1/2d which would be dated around early 1800's,you can  some times tell from the milled edge,its often very serrated and rough.Hope this helps

I can't tell what it is from these pics Stig. Does your camera have macro, because you should be able to get much better pictures if it has? This one was taken with macro on a 4 mp camera:
