It depends on the trip Kev - if its over The Bridge then all day. If its a DW Rally then all day.

If its local (within 30minutes of home) then anything from 2 hours to a whole day.

Beaches tend to be tide dependent as I am frequently bad at timing my arrival with the outgoing tide!

When ever I go out Kev it is always for the day. If it was for a few hours I would tend to lose track of time and be out three hours longer than intended so My better half knows now that if I am out it is for the day.

If it is productive, when the stars come out, get home Grin

Mostly for at least 6-7 hours.

On selected rallies, all day.

When working, i try to get out at least twice a week, now the evenings are drawing out it will be easier to detect until dark most evenings.

If i amlucky enough to find a productive field, will stay out until the following morning, though will contact farmer so as not to get shot !  Grin
