Not a bad idea if it could be worked. Hubby has a weather site attached to his Flying Site.

looks like a non starter ,  i have seen it on other sites though, not sure how much work is involved to add it to a site as im not that knowledgable on computers, it would give members another reason to sign in and keep upto date on whats going on, as alot of dw useres detect the beaches , back to the drwaing board Undecided Undecided, thanks anyway  val for your reply     mickycoin  Grin Grin.

For long term tidal prediction try using the climbers club.

google tide tables-the climbers club and then type in the nearest location
to where you want to go and the month year etc. and you will have all the info you want.
For short term predictions use easy tide on line.

You can buy a harbour masters tide book in whs smiths rather cheap. Get one for the cod season every year. Also most tackle shops have them normally free.

Done!

I have added the BBC link to the Tide Times into the Beach detecting section on DW as a permanent link. Just click on the link and select the area you want to go to.

Good idea Mick. We used to have it up  a few years ago, but I guess it disappeared.

Cheers

Thanks Neil. Always a reliable site and useful to refer to, even for walking the dogs.

Remember, anyone who's interested, we're into April and that means PAYING on car parks by coast and DOG BAN on most beaches.

I've always said it aint fair.  Locals shouldn't have to pay. We pay Rates in the first place so why have to pay for parking.
And don't it hurt even more when we get a ticket and they wont take NO for an answer. No excuses accepted.

it makes me mad though Val that they put dog bans on beaches but seemingly horses are not banned - they produce a lot more poo and I've yet to see the rider 'picking up'  Roll Eyes

Dog poo is a lot more dangerous for young children and pregnant women than horse poo. You dont see dog poo being spread on your roses!

Or your veggie garden  Shocked

Once again it's the few who spoil it for the many.  Most of the doggie people I know carry nappie bags or similar to pick up after thier dogs.
I spose old carrier bags could be useful for the horses. These days I'm not guilty, I don't ride now but I do pick up in the field every day. It helps keep fly numbers down.
